Prayer goes on
PrayDay is not just a day in November, PrayDay is supposed to be a movement to change your school. Not just for one day but throughout the whole year.
The idea is that you can pray for your school every day, not just at PrayDay. Have you ever thought about regularly meeting with Christian peers from school as a CU to both pray for school and to think about what God has to say about being a Christian in a school environment?
Help for starting a CU, material and practical help as well as personal contact details of people from your area willing to help you can be found on the following websites:
- scriptureunion.org.uk/schools (Scripture Union England and Wales)
- suscotland.org.uk (Scripture Union Scotland)
- nkss.no (Norges Kristelige Student- og Skoleungdomslag, Norway)
- www.credo.nu (Credo Sweden)
- kfs.dk (Kristeligt Forbund for Studerende, Denmark)
- schulbeweger.de (Schulbeweger Movement, Germany)
- www.evbg.ch/schule (Vereinigte Bibelgruppen Switzerland)
- GBEU (Groupes Bibliques des Ecoles et Universités de Suisse Romande)
You are all by yourself but looking for other intercessors to pray for school?
There might well be Mums and Dads or teachers already praying for your particular school.
On the websites mentioned you will also find info about which schools already have CU’s and contact details of individuals who can tell you more about whether or not there are people near you willing to pray with you.
